Men and women wearing thick clothing to protect them from the cold weather could be seen about the colosseum. The highest points of the grand intimidating building as it stretched out into the city and rose to meet with the tallest skyscrapers were frozen over with ice as it created a sight that was worth the long stares and thoughtful admiration. The streams were frozen over to keep the theme of winter within the building, even the water that served as the main stage was frozen over as well. Long drapes of white fabric hung off of every rail of each balcony, large crystals hung from wires directly in the middle suspended by other thick wires that were drilled onto the top of the roof. The large opening in the roof allowed aqua blue eyes a wonderful view of the sky and the white snow as it fell. It was that time of year again… time for the yearly winter festival. The owner of the dark blue rimmed eyes temporarily closed her eyes as she allowed the thought to sink in fully.
“Miss Isolda… Is there anything else that is needed or required of us?” A man spoke who was wearing glasses and a clip board in front of his face, no doubt where he kept the necessary paper work, checklists, and phone numbers. “Yes that would be all”, replied Zelena. Done with the conversation she turned her body to the right, her hair and white scarf flowing behind her with the wind. She left her hair down for once in its natural way and she wore a thicker white trench coat, for the weather was becoming too cold. She even traded off her usual white high heels and metallic skirt for a pair of white slacks and slim white boots. Of course she could have just raised the temperature around her by influencing the water around her, but with so many people around and trying to come into contact with her, it was too risky and one may notice the change. It wouldn’t be too much of a change in temperature, it wouldn’t be like as if a fire elemental were there, but it was one that could be noticed.
A doorway came to her view and her eyes widened from recognition, and her feet slowly took her to it. White gloved hands reached out for the handle and pushed open the door. A dark stair case was revealed to her, she stepped in and allowed the door to shut behind her. It was then when the emergency lights came on to make the staircase visible, with no one around her she allowed a small smile to appear on her face. She knew where these stairs led to and she couldn’t wait to reach the top level, the view was always enjoyable. Passively she stepped up the flight of stairs to come to another door, which she easy opened as well. There a small metal frame set of five steps lead up to the ice covered roof. The wind wasn’t shy at this height and made Zelena’s curly hair flow rapidly behind her, and the longest end of her white scarf twist and flow. Her blue eyes narrowed in a passive manner as she walked up the metal set of stairs, walking near the middle of the roof to look at the city around her. She could see all the cars flying around, all of the workers moving about, most of the buildings that stretched across the land and water, and the natural landscape of the outskirts. To her it was all beautiful and the sight was amazing, she would like to share this place with someone, but didn’t know who just yet. Either way it was hers for now and she would soak up the pleasing sight.
