Agent Description:
Mainly humans that have sworn their allegiance to the Agency are referred to as agents. There are few elementals that swear their allegiance to the Agency, but two decades and any point further in the past elemental agents were common. Although most of these previous manipulators of nature were exterminated out fear of the prophecy spoken by the Dreamer 17 years ago; leading to the wars known as Keir Confrontation.
But let’s back up to the history of the Agency itself. Founded in the early 2020s the Agency was created by the United States Government as a secret organization whose main goal was to protect any and all confidential information; gather any info that the government desired; mercenaries; and advanced weaponry. Now this particular organization differed from the other secret organizations in the fact that most of the agents had abnormal abilities, some could control the elements, some could shatter all that came their way, and others had heightened physical abilities. Most were not genetically altered but were born with these abilities; it was only in the 2050s where the Agency began to work on enhancing the physical abilities of its members.
There were attempts to create altered beings that could control the elements, see into the future, and break down all matter. All failed though, due to the experiments ending in complete failures, done with trying to complete a fully altered human into a being now known as an elemental, they had left all the failed experiments to roam in the surrounding out-lands. It was their belief that eventually they would die out and become non-existent. They were wrong and therefore unknown beasts and dangers roam about the outskirts of the city. But these creatures will be discussed further in a different document (thread).
So then the Agency was used as the government’s last resort for anything they wanted to keep from the public’s eye or attention; the last line of defense for any undercover wars; and the organization that led the nation’s technology of war. Personal battle suits were developed in the late 2100s, and were used effectively. Each suit was customized to each agent, to enhance their abilities and physical skills. But this was also the time of expansion of the human race, where development of colonies in space was coming into reality. Soon the wars they fought in the deserts, the cities, and in the waters of Earth were being fought out in the vast expansion of space.
The world was beginning to slowly develop into another world war, with a brand new frontier. It was only due to a United Nations agreement to instill a HQ for the Agency in each country, in their attempt to calm down the increasing tension between the two powers of the Allies and the Expansionist. The Agency was no longer considered a United States organization but the first organization belonging to the United Nations that was literary involved in the conflicts of war. Soon the battle suits were only used for frontier in space, for the members of the Agency were still to be rarely seen although the world now knew of their existence. At least they knew of the humans, but not the elementals.
The Elementals then proposed to work for the Agency if the Agency had promised to keep their existence a secret. The organization naturally agreed to the condition, thinking that it would make it easier to cover their tracks, and it did. All the attempts of small groups to take over a developing colony were exterminated by the agents, all rebellion created on Earth was also exterminated. The Agency had basically become the regulation force of society, the organization that monitored the development of the final frontier ( ).
Then soon lighter battle suits were created that would fit around an individual perfectly but the suits were limited in what they could do on Earth, seeing that they were more designed to have more effectiveness in space. This was the year of 2134, when the United Nations feared the growing power of the Agency. As a result the United Nations began creating restrictions on the Agency, limiting the amount of research they could partake in a year, the amount of agents they could recruit in a year, and soon they drove the organization back into a world of secrecy. The world watched the public disbandment of the organization, but the agents were the only ones that knew that establishment was truly not taken off the list yet.
So then the agents once again worked in total secrecy, leaving behind any trace of their existences; even the battle suit went with them. Which made the number of created and used suits rather low. Only the top members were able to get their hands on them. Even when they did there were rare times when they could be used, for the suit would draw attention in a city or if seen would start speculation, so they were only used only in total necessity. As for the agents themselves were trained more effectively in hand to hand combat, weaponry, stealth, and for those with the ability to manipulate external forces received a concentration training that was highly effective. Now it was back to square one with the Agency, the only difference was the advancement of technology.
It was now easier to create a serum or technique of further enhancing the abilities of selected agents, including the Elemental agent, but despite all of their efforts and the advancement of technology the Agency still failed in all attempts to alter a Human into an Elemental. Most that underwent the experiments died or became mad. Determined not to give up they continued their research all in vain. Then in the year of 2147 rumors of a Dreamer began to spread among the Elementals. Rumors of another war that was soon to come, but few already knew that the war had already begun.
Once the Head of the Agency, Lucasrus, heard of the rumor plans to kill of his Elemental agents began. Soon comrades were killed due to accidents, random shootings, and early fatal medical issues. The humans of the agency knew the truth that Lucasrus had decided to wipe out the real enemy of the world, the ones they used to call comrades. Elemental agents then quickly got wind of what was happening, some stay to face their fate and some fled in order to begin their own army. Now the main goal of the Agency as a whole was to bring down the destruction of the Elemental race, to exterminate them.
They continue their goal today, in their pursuit to the "cursed" beings that will only bring about destruction. Hunting them down like they were animals for a time, then Orexia appeared an Elemental organization that was kept a secret from all except the Elementals. The organization was started by two formally KIA members of the Agency. These two high-ranked elementals seemed to have risen from the dead; and even raise an army within years as their plot of revenge, defense, and dignity. The war was now beginning to manifest. For now they the agents had a name to their enemy; Orexia.
