[glow=blue,2,300]The Prophecy of a Dream
[/size][/glow]A prophecy was made seventeen years ago by a Dreamer. Who foretold that the war between two species would end when one pure elemental and one true human was killed. The first being to be killed would predict the fall of their race. Since the announcement of that prophecy the two powerful races have been at war, secretly.
Now it is the year 2164 where the world is filled with polluted air, the population has grown so that buildings now build upon each other. Flying cars and motorcycles are common. Robots have been developed to provide services to even the most poor. Weapons have become greatly developed but older models of the 2000's still exist.
Nature has become rare but some forests, rivers, and natural wonders still exist. Orexia, also known as the city of phenomenon, is within the district of Sion near the large freshwater Mirror lake (Which use to be the 5 Great Lakes in North America until a great tectonic shift in 2102 occurred, causing all five lakes to form into one massive one.) and other scarce environments. Although the city continues to grow and expand into the water, becoming one with it; other parts of the city have grown so that the buildings almost reach the heavens.
Yet Orexia holds its secrets. Elementals make their living here; they alone can control fire, water, wind, metal, electricity, light, the shadows, wood, and sound. Some can even break anything or predict the future. These element manipulating beings gather together to form a group known as Orexia, named after the city and the homeland of these abnormal species.
Then the Humans learned of the elementals existence and, eventually, the prophecy of the Dreamer. As a result the humans who call themselves Agents hunt down the Elementals, in their attempt to keep Human dominance over Earth. But some of these Agents are not ordinary human beings, some have heightened senses, physical attributes, and others have developed psychic abilities. It is these specific individuals that have the potential to be as dangerous as any first level elemental could be.
So it is to be expected that when an Agent and Elemental make contact, a battle or fight would inevitably begin. Gang related fights, accidents, shootings, and other crimes; these are just cover ups for a battle scene of such a meeting. Unfortunately there are innocent beings that get caught in the cross-fire. Leaving some families broken, others filled with resentment, and some individuals are forced to give up their lives. The webs of chaos reach out in numerous ways to tie many different people, elementals, and creatures together; but ultimately it grows and infects all that it touches.
So how and why does this web of disorder remain hidden from the rest of the population of Earth? It would be easier to recruit for an army and finish off the war quickly, to draw in so many at once and lessen the damage of the destructive chaos, at least some would think.
The revealing of the Elemental to the rest of the world would bring about enough chaos on its own; battles would engulf not just Earth but the small bases out in space. The humans would assault the Elementals with all they could and the Elementals would inflict as much as they could onto the Humans; all in the desperate struggle for survival and dominance. The world-wide battles would inevitably get out of hand and wreck havoc upon all. It could easily become the end of all the races that make their home on the blue, brown, green, and white planet.
It is the fear of an apocalypse that brings the battling races to agree at least on one thing, that the battles must remain hidden from the rest of the living world. Only a select few could be trusted with such information. And so the numbers of Agents are limited among the Humans. While the Elementals are hindered by the lack of flourishing natural environments around the globe, since most of the land has been reduced to either a hot sandy desert or unbearably cold tundra. There are few places now where any wildlife can be found flourishing like in the days of the old; leaving little room for some to practice their skills or to develop their ties to a force called Tarin or Nature. Leaving the Elementals large in number but many are weak in skill with their gifts.
Each side has their weak points and strong suits, but who will come on top? Will it be the Humans or the Elementals that will claim the world as theirs? Why don’t you take your part in this chaotic web of a war and maybe change the fate of an entire race. The choice is up to you, choose wisely.
