It had been a month since Elizabeth had meet Darek, and a month and a day since going to visit her parents graves. It was a cool afternoon, and the sun was just at its peek in the sky when Elizabeth made her way into the graveyard where her parents, along with many others were buried. Elizabeth was in all white as she walked through the graveyard, like a beacon of hope to all those dead. It was the ceremonial color of death to the Greeks, and as was tradition she wore her finest white dress. Her scarlet hair was lose and her green eyes filled with joy as she carried a dozen white roses in there prime to here parents graves, as she always did every month after there death.
When she came to where her parents were buried she went down on her knees and said as she placed six of the perfect white roses onto each gravestone " Hello mother, Hello father. How are you." Elizabeth then put her hands to the earth and buried her hands into the soft ground beneath her. Then feeling of warmth came over her and the smell of fresh cut hay fields filled her senses as she felt the earth surround her emotionally like an old friend. It reminded her of her parents soft and nurturing nature. " Well a lot has happened since last time we talked. William is not who we all believed him to be. " And with that she sighed. " He was sleeping with my friends, and well I almost died twice this month, if not for this new boy Darek I sold a house to I would be buried right along side of you in our mother earth." Elizabeth smiled as she looked up into the sky, a picture of Darek coming clearly to her mind.
" He's not like anyone any of us have ever known, he seems so savage and free." Elizabeth shivered as she thought of the young boy who was more a man then William. " He's very dark though, and doesn't say much. All he ever seems to have to say is about working on the house and well his boss. Shes very nice too." Elizabeth then went on to tell her parents the story of the seventh night knowing Darek and how he and his employer had taken her out to eat.
" Well goodbye mother, goodbye father." Elizabeth said as she kissed the earth and then both of the gravestones, before getting up and starting to walk away from the gravestones.
